  • Telford Butcher Launches Cook-In-The-Bag Range!

    A Telford butcher has launched its new exciting range of cook-in-the-bag meals. G N Badley & Sons Family Butchers on Gibbons Road in Telford launched their new range last weekend (29th April) with a growing range of cook in the bag meats in tasty sauces packed individually, ideal for one person meals or if your feeding the family.

    The headline product this weekend was their Piri Piri Chicken Breast, but other mouth-watering options will be added to the range with options like Minty Lamb Steak, Braised Pepper Steak, BBQ Chicken Breast, BBQ Pulled Pork and Pulled Brisket in the coming weeks.

    Simon Badley, Managing Director said: “We are delighted to offer this new range of meals as it boasts the convince meals supermarkets offer but is prepared in store by our butchers using our prime cuts of British meat.”

    G N Badley & Sons established 41 years ago in Telford and has been an iconic Butcher for quality and innovation but based on the family tradition of traditional butchery. The butchers has recently launched it’s new ‘Meat Box for One’ after demand from people living alone of all ages wanting to access quality meat but in portions which are ideal for just one!

    The butchers also operates its own ‘Reward Card’ where customer earn points and other bonuses on every shop. Each point collected has a cash value which customers can redeem off their shop, customer love the scheme and over half of their transactions a week use a reward card.

    It’s here! After a lot of time and hard work we have launched our new ‘Reward Card’.

    Any of our customer who visit us in store can sign up for our new reward card. It is as simple as, call in-store give us some details and you are signed up! You don't even have to have a card to carry around – we will simply look you up and add your points every time you shop.

  • Our 40th anniversary month proves real hit

    We celebrated our 40th anniversary in March and saw a boom in sales during the month, compared to last year’s figures.

    At our shop in Gibbons Road, Trench, we aimed to increase sales by putting on a number of offers and events as a way of celebrating opening their store in March 1976.

    Our family-run business, which supplies meat across the UK via our website and locally from the store, sold around 100kg of sausages, 50kg of dry cured bacon and 95kg of minced beef during last month.

  • We've had ostrich and zebra for a while, how do you fancy python fillet, frog’s legs and goat now!

    We’ve been supplying the people of Telford and beyond with kangaroo, bilson, crocodile and springbok - how do you fancy something different?

    We spotted that our ostrich fillet and ostrich burgers went down a storm over Christmas - we sold 20 packs of the alternative meats in just a couple of days - so we’ve decided to expand the range we offer.
